OPAL organized a graduation ceremony for graduates of its popular Human Resources Certification Programmes (HRCP). The event was held in Jan 2014 at the Institute of the Public Administration under the patronage of H.E. Sayyed Salim bin Muslam Al Busaidi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service for Administrative Development Affairs.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Oman Society for Petroleum Services (OPAL) for 2014 is set to be held on Monday the 24th of March 2014 at 10:00 am, at Crown Plaza Muscat Hotel. All OPAL active members have been sent a formal invitation to attend.

The Ministry of Manpower is running an exercise to poll opinions and suggestions about the current version of the Omani Labour Law, launched earlier in the month. This would be an opportunity to relay to the Ministry any points you may want to, in contribution to the process of review and update that the Ministry is carrying out. Oman Society of Petroleum Services (OPAL) has announced the appointment of Mr. Irshad Moosa Al Lawati as its new Chief Executive Officer succeeding Mr. Mohamed Al Harthi who has finished his 2 years secondment term, and becoming the fourth CEO of the first and only oil and gas industry association in Oman.
