In support of the corporate social responsibility initiatives and in response to the call to support Ministry of Health (MOH) efforts in combating COVID19, the Oman Society for Petroleum Services (Opal) has signed today a Memorandum of Understanding with Total E&P Oman Development BV (Oman Branch) for funding  the COVID-19 testing. 

The MoU was signed at OPAL office this Monday, 22nd June 2020. Representing OPAL, MoU has been signed by Mr. Abdulrahman Al Yahyaei, OPAL CEO and Mr. Ronan Huitric, Oman Country Chair – Total E&P Oman Development BV (Oman Branch).

On this occasion Mr. Abdulrahman Al Yahyaei highlighted that OPAL will continue to play major role in increasing awareness of the good work practices in order to reduce the impact of Covid-19. “OPAL is playing several roles during this difficult time supporting not only the Industry and its members but also the society at large”, he added.

Commenting on this arrangement, Mr. Ronan Huitric underlined that TOTAL’s engagement in this initiative is very much aligned with TOTAL’s robust Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to contribute to the supporting of MOH efforts to combating the COVID -19.
